Each treatment you receive will be individually tailored to suit your requirements. However, all the treatments provided help to promote relaxation, ease muscular aches and pains, increase circulation and help to promote a feeling
of physical and emotional well-being.
Complementary therapies can be particularly beneficial for stress related conditions such as insomnia / poor sleep, skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis, headaches, anxiety, digestive problems and can support conventional treatments for chronic, long term
health conditions.
Setting up your treatment area
Please choose a room which is warm and quiet, where your treatment will not be disturbed by pets, telephone calls, etc,with a clear or easily cleared area approximately nine by five feet.
During your first appointment approximately 10 - 15 minutes will be spent taking a full medical history. This process enables Jenny to gain a fuller picture of your health and treatment requirements.
Treatments
Aromatherapy Massage
Massage helps to improve circulation, skin tone and aids the elimination of toxins from the body. Oils are chosen for their therapeutic qualities and blended accordingly. This treatment uses a combination of massage techniques,base oil and essential oils chosen to suit your individual needs. You can also have a personalised blend of essential oils in a base oil or cream to use at home.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment, using gentle pressure and movements to particular reflex and pressure points on the feet, to promote relaxation, physical and emotional well-being.
Thai Massage
Thai massage involves slow, rhythmic compressions and stretches along ten of the body's most important "sen" or energy lines using the palms of the hands, thumbs, elbows and feet, with the aim of increasing flexibility, decreasing stress and promoting a balanced state of mind, body and spirit. It is performed on a futon over clothing - no oil is used. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for your appointment.
Hopi Ear Candle Therapy
Hopi Ear Candle therapy is a pleasant, non-invasive treatment of the ears, originating from the native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona. The treatment is suitable for most clients and can be enjoyed simply for relaxation purposes, or may be beneficial for a number of conditions and is suitable for children.
